Dr. Haoxin Wang (王昊鑫) is currently a tenure-track assistant professor in the Department of Computer Science at Georgia State University (GSU). Dr. Wang received his Ph.D. degree in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering from The University of North Carolina-Charlotte, advised by Professor Jiang Xie. He received his B.S. degree in Control Science and Engineering from Harbin Institute of Technology, Harbin, China.
Prior to joining GSU, Dr. Wang was a research scientist at Toyota Motor North America R&D – InfoTech Labs, leading the Edge Computing Roadmap. Dr. Wang’s current research focuses on the design, development, analysis, and measurement of environment-friendly deep learning algorithms and systems for mobile and edge devices. Dr. Wang and his group have a strong interest in applying the designed solutions to emerging applications, such as connected and automated vehicles, mobile AR/VR, and the Internet of Things.
